Gucci Luxurious Moisture Rich Lipstick: Nude Satin and Exposure

Many of you had asked me for swatches of these gorgeous Gucci Beauty Luxurious Moisture Rich Lipstick. It’s too bad there’s no way to get them in Canada but those of you in the United States or other countries, you have better luck at getting your hands on them! I went to United States for vacation, and of course, being a makeup addict I had to drop by the Gucci Boutique and pick up some Gucci products! These included 2 of their Luxurious Moisture Rich Lipsticks in shade Exposure (#300) and Nude Satin (#340).

The packaging is to die for! The housing is black and gold with the Gucci logo at the top. Once you open it, the tube is printed with the Gucci signature GG grid. There is also a GG logo embossed at the very top of the lipstick making it soooo hard to dip in! Below are the swatches of the two!

Nude Satin on me is more of a MLBB shade (reminds me of the Christian Louboutin lippie that I bought, reviewed here) whereas Exposure gives more of a cool toned pink to my lips. Both are moisturizing and pigmented. Super creamy and glides on the lips effortlessly! It feels amazing to have these on!!

Tom Ford Lips and Boys: Addison, Austin, Jake, Ansel, Julian, Drake

Hello lovelies!

Quite a few of you have asked about seeing swatches of the Tom Ford Lips and Boys collection that came out in late 2015. So I have decided to create a post with the swatches of the 6 boys that I have purchased (which included two from previous collection). They are called boys because each of these lipsticks are name after men that played a significant part in Tom Ford’s life.

The Tom Ford Lips and Boys ($44 CAD, 0.07oz)

The shades I have chosen are mostly pinks/rosy nudes with the exception of Drake which was the star of the 2015 collection. All of the boys are richly pigmented and creamy, glides on the lips smoothly and feels completely luxurious.

Who’s excited about Chanel’s new lipsticks?? This Spring, Chanel launches a brand new lip product called “Rouge Coco Stylo“. It comes in 7 different shades and retails for $37USD or $45CAD for 0.07oz. The formula is meant to combine lip gloss and lip balm together yet providing high intensity color like a normal lipstick. Sounds amazing doesn’t it? As soon as it became available, I purchased two in shades Conte #202 and Lettre #216.

Etude House S/S 2016 Berry Delicious Collection

Who’s in love with K-Beauty and Etude House??? If so, you must get your hands on this collection!! This cute collection is called “Berry Delicious“. And you are probably asking why is it called “Berry Delicious”? Great question, because everything in this collection have a berry theme to it – from packaging to even the scent!! Isn’t that sweet? OK, I wouldn’t suggest you go and taste every item to verify but it is very tempting. I was lucky enough to be sent a few items to review for you gals! I couldn’t stop admiring the cute strawberry patterned design on all the items!

BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Fig

BITE Beauty brings you 34 new shades this Spring with the all new Amuse Bouche Lipsticks! These new lipsticks are described to deliver “extreme moisture” while delivering “bold, creamy lip color”. I have purchased the shade “Fig”, which is a nude rose color. Pictured as well is the Canadian exclusive shade in “Mauvember” which was released in November of 2015 in support of the Movember foundation.

Dior Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm: Lilac 005

Dior Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm have a new shade! It’s called 005 Lilac from the Dior Spring 2016 collection. For those that are unfamiliar with the Color Reviver Balm, it is a lip balm that reacts with your lips’ pH to create a sheer wash of color on your lips. And by doing so, it “enhances” the colors of your lips while still hydrates and protects! There are 3 shades in total and I have 2 of them: Shade 001 Pink and Shade 005 Lilac.

Chanel Perles et Fantaisies Illuminating Powder + Illusion D’Ombre 112 Iridescent + 118 Moonlight Pink + Rouge Allure Velvet 55 La Delicate

This spring, Chanel did it again, came out with amazing products that I could not pass up! The products I picked are from two separate collections: Chanel Les Sautoirs de Coco (Perles et Fantaisies highlighter, Illusion D’Ombre in 112 Iridescent, Rouge Allure Velvet in 55 La Delicate) and Chanel LA Sunrise (Illusion D’Ombre in 118 Moonlight Pink). I’m mostly attracted to anything pastel/pearly/pink, hence, the choices I have made. Of all the products, the highlighter was a must for me! It totally screams “collector” item!

Charlotte Tilbury Date Night Duo: Between the sheets + Kiss Chase

Two amazing new shades recently released by Charlotte Tilbury. Just in time for Spring 2016! I ordered both shades in a combo called “Date Night Duo” as soon as they were available online. I feel like this set was released specifically for valentines day as the shades do have a very romantic, pretty, date night feel to them. The names of these shades were actually suggested by her wonderful fans and followers on Facebook and Instagram!

Christian Louboutin Lip Color: 217S Rose du Desert

When I think of Christian Louboutin, first thing comes to mind is the French designer’s well known luxurious shiny, red lacquered soles footwear. Continuation from their successful launch of nail polishes, comes the launch of a collection of lip products – lipsticks in 3 finishes and lip definers. Here I will be reviewing a lipstick from their sheer voile line in shade 217S Rose du Desert.

 

The packaging and design is very luxurious. The lipsticks from the different lines (silky satin, velvet matte and sheer voile) all look very similar with minor details that differ. The design of the lipstick was inspired by Middle Eastern antiques and the Art of Deco movement.
